How we work together

Getting started

We begin with a complimentary consultation where we can explore what you're experiencing, how somatic coaching might support you, and whether my approach feels right for you. This is simply a conversation - no pressure, just space to explore whether this feels like a good fit.

If we decide to work together, sessions include:

  • 60-minute virtual meetings where you can explore at your own pace

  • Weekly or bi-weekly sessions, depending on what feels right for you

  • Email support between sessions

  • Practices customized to honour your journey and timing

  • A safe space where you can be exactly who you are and begin reconnecting with what your body is telling you

What sessions feel like

While every session is unique and responsive to what you bring, there's a gentle structure that provides safety and predictability:

  • Arrival and settling - so you can be present with whatever you're bringing

  • Exploration - this might involve movement, breathwork, visualizations, or simply noticing what's happening in your body, depending entirely on what feels right for you in that moment

  • Integration - to help you process whatever emerges

  • Somatic coaching is not therapy, but it can absolutely help you with emotional experiences. While therapy often focuses on healing past wounds and treating mental health conditions, coaching supports you in reconnecting with yourself and building capacity for your current life.

    If you're wondering whether you need therapy instead - you might benefit from therapy if you're dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns that need clinical treatment. Many of my clients do both coaching and therapy, and they work beautifully together.
